We did a day in the park and it was really fun. Lot's of food and drinks and they have a paid rest area that was really nice and private. Love to go back again soon.
This place has two main things that go against it: you have to pay extra to ride any of the water slides (it's like going to Disney but you have to pay for each ride you want to go on) and it's OLD. The staff is very kind and helpful and there are dozens of pools and different areas. It's great for toddlers and young elementary kids especially.
It was lonely. It was my first time on onsen. I didn't see any other foreigners there, so I guess that explains why staff couldn't speak any English. Luckily, they showed me away to the onsen area and to the lockers because I was so lost in there. I think the price for the onsen was a bit too high compared to the other places. Also, I didn't know that you needed to buy another ticket if you wanted to use the water slides, and it was around 3500 yen just to use 3 differenr water slides
