Location is ideal. Next to Chinatown with abundance choice of restaurant. Yokohama park right in front of the hotel with beautiful tulips and Sakura in spring. Convenience store Lawson is connected to the hotel. Front desk located on the 3rd Floor. Everything is very good about this hotel. Friendly and helpful staffs. Everything in the room is functional and practical. Clean and bright. Totally impressed. The best part; self service laundry located on the 7th & 10th Floor. Check In @ 2pm, early check @12 pm with a price (¥1000/¥2000) earlier than 12pm NOT possible but they are happy to have you leave your baggage with them. Check Out @ 11am, later with additional price (¥1000 an hour) Overall, it’s worth booking this hotel for your stay in Yokohama.
Pretty good hotel though the service are not that much, most require stuff (toothbrush etc)needs to be taking at counters, if you forget you need a second walk from room again, Room is good, comfortable with enough spaces to put luggage. breakfast is not fancy but it’s ok, only one good thing is they have good coffee.
Two night stay (Room 507) PROS: 1. Available free toiletries and other amenities in the lobby; 2. Mini-mart located just outside the hotel entrance; 3. Nice location close to Chinatown and Yokohama Park; 4. Large bed with comfortable mattress and linens; 5. Self-service laundry facilities on the 7th & 10th floors; 6. Easy check-out process. CONS: 1. Check-in process is unusually cumbersome; 2. Refrigerator in switched-off mode by default, and when you turn it on a bright orange light illuminates that makes sleeping difficult; 3. Need to manually turn on aircon each time you enter room; 4. Only 1 bottle of water in room (most hotels give 2); 5. No "Do Not Disturb" indicator for door; 6. Bright LED lights from ceiling smoke alarm and wall aircon panel disturbs sleep; 7. Rooms curtains are not blackout.
