Joel is the Man. He made sure our stay at MX más reforma was like being at home. Our rooms were always clean and really cozy! The amenities were flawless. Not only Joel made sure we got the View of the Angel de Independencia but also that we were taken care of. Overall: Majestic!
Fantastic location, so convenient for pick up and drop off, 2 cafes located downstairs and walkable to restaurants, bars, ATM, loved the location. Loved the Junior suite - just note our room had a see through glass doors to the toilet….just keep that in mind if you’re traveling with others. It’s also next to a bar so if you’re a light sleeper, there may be loud music late evenings. Otherwise, the room had a beautiful balcony where you could see the Angel, ability to connect the TV to the Internet so you can stream YouTube and Netflix; great AC, and nice free breakfast. Premises were always clean and smelled nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Let me start with the positives, the hotel is very cute, service was great, and the location was also very central- walking distance to everything. Really great cafe on the first floor. With that being said some of the negatives are that it was extremely loud throughout the night, cars with really loud exhausts, and a club right next door that goes till what felt like 6am. We had read reviews that it could be loud on the weekends but we didn’t realize that it would be that loud. Our bathroom also had a weird sewage smell in the mornings which seemed to go away throughout the day. Hotel was affordable and had a great view of the angel de la Independencia and cute jacaranda (purple) trees. Also great for the Sunday run in reforma where they close the main street from 8-2pm of you’re into running and biking.
