Service was amazing and the food was fantastic. Hilda made us an excellent guacamole right by our table and our servers Eduardo and Alma were extremely helpful and funny. Presentation was terrific and the venue has an amazing view of the beaches. The guacamole was definitely a highlight. We will definitely be returning!
Nice beach and views .. the only food option for breakfast and lunch is at their buffet. One busy morning the food was all picked over and it was not filled back up in a timely manner. Kids had to wait for pancakes and waffles. Overall food was missing flavor. Dinner reservations were needed to made before 3pm at the other places to eat beside the buffet. Room with an indoor jacuzzi was nice. Bar tenders were average in friendliness when we’d walk up to get a drink. Waiters were hard to find at times.
I been to several Grand Palladium resorts and they have all been excellent until I got to the one in Puerto Vallarta. The resort is old and rooms smell musky. Tile needs repair in many places and resort is in severe need of general maintenance. Pools were not cleaned regularly and were dirty most of our stay. Most restaurants have no air and the food varies between terrible and ok. The buffet was out of bread two days so no toast for breakfast and no cheese for omelets one morning. If you go to breakfast at 8:00 or later you would stand in line for up to a hour.Bars ran out of a certain beer one day and certain liquors another. Many places you walk smell like sewage. 95% of patrons are Mexicans and they are catered to over any other nationality. So the service for us was poor at best. We were talked into upgrading to family area even though we had no kids. We were told it was so much better and we would probably want to hang out there more than other two pools. Four hundred dollars more and only difference was the pool we didn’t like, a butler that all she did was made our dinner reservations. We also had an extra bar. Definitely not worth the price oh I forgot we had an extra restaurant. When we checked out I had an extra charge of 28 dollars, when asked why she didn’t know. I said I’m not paying. She said she wouldn’t check me out and would not release my luggage and would not let our driver in to pick us up. I asked for a manager, of course the manager didn’t come in until latter. She then told me it was because I canceled some free massages we got for listening to a presentation. I canceled because my wife was sick and several hours before we were scheduled. I had to pay or we would miss our transportation to airport. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.
