The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta

In July, we spent a total of 7 nights. Very positive stay! Great service throughout the resort. Although there was some resort improvements taking place, absolutely did not hear any construction or noise anytime during our stay. Breakfast was great and location could not be better. Close to airport making travel easy and a short walk to the Marina with many dining options. Exceeded expectations! Big shout out to front Desk especially Jonathan who was very helpful during a prompt and courteous check in!

We had a few issues during our stay but the staff were great at helping us. The hotel is undergoing some renovations which was slightly annoying at times but the staff did their best to minimize disruption. The cocktail class with Daniel was fun!

Overall an okay stay and had multiple issues with the rooms we stayed in. The room we had for the first night had a dehumidifier in it and it smelled musty. The second room we stayed in had a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom and were woken up in the morning from jack hammering noises that sounded like it was next door. I recommend eating around the area instead of inside the hotel. My group reserved for what we thought was going to be a Japanese restaurant in the hotel, but we were given a different menu when we sat down. The coffee shop service was very slow especially with the amount of people in line for coffee. There were only two employees - one working the register and the other making the drinks. Poolside service was great and the drinks at Flora were amazing tho. The location is great and walkable to the Marina which has plenty of restaurants and shopping.
