Casa de Sierra Nevada A Belmond Hotel San Miguel de Allende

The ONLY hotel to stay at in San Miguel de Allende! The property is a handful of old colonial buildings - monasteries, a fort, horse stables, etc. right in the middle of the city and walking distance to everything. The history of the property, blended with all the modern amenities, makes it surpass every/any hotel in San Miguel. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, and the warmth and love we felt from everyone was unlike anywhere else. Many thanks to Fernando Carrasco, Alejandro Gonzales, Gustavo Gonzales, and Ana for being SO special and making the stay one we will never forget! I cannot recommend this property more!! Do yourself a favor and do not stay anywhere else!

We did a friends trip to San Miguel—two couples—and there was no detail spared at this lovely Belmond property. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was special. Ana and Santiago helped us with check in and got us settled in our rooms. Ana was always present and we loved seeing her throughout our stay—so kind and attentive. We had 1 night stay and dinner at the Casa Parque before moving to Casa Fuente. I can’t complain about the facility at Casa Parque, only that it is quite far from everything we wanted to do. It’s about a 10-15 min walk from the lobby. Once we moved to Casa Fuente, the trip only got better. And I must thank Alejandro, Gustavo, and of course, Michael, for ensuring that we were comfortable in our new rooms. Each one of them was incredibly attentive and kind. There’s truly no need to eat off property if you don’t want to. The food was another level, and the drinks even better. Check out the rooftop bar, but don’t sleep on the Blue Bar… tasty bites and we ended up having dinner there one night because the drinks were too good to want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

We recently visited this property during a friends' trip, which was a delightful first outing together for our group of two couples in their 30s and 40s. Our experience can be summed up perfectly with: 'This is the best hotel we've stayed at in recent memory.' To give you an idea of the exceptional service, after checking out, I realized I had left behind my electric toothbrush. When I called the hotel, not only did they search for it, but when they couldn't find it, they actually purchased a new one and had it delivered to my Airbnb. Incredible, right? The property itself felt like stepping into an episode of 'White Lotus'—complete with jasmine and lavender scents, stunning tile work, and the charming details of an old hacienda, all within walking distance of the main attractions. Honestly, just stay here.
