We had driven for many hours through very curvy mountains it's beautiful but the other Hotel had lost our reservation and there was nothing so we ended up looking for something and discovered Villas Las Margaritas wow! What a surprise. The staff for incredible they were friendly they spoke some English but they put up with my Spanish which is on and off again. The food was pretty darn good and not real expensive and we damn near had the place to ourselves. One of the bellboys help me find my keys which I lost in a senior moment he made no judgment did not seem to be laughing at me at all and wanted to practice his English. Was very receptive to my attempts at educating and helped me with my Spanish as well. The room was freaking incredible for about $60 a night we got a room with a jacuzzi and it was huge it was at least 700 square feet everything in the room functioned well the hotel was clean. And absolutely gorgeous. Highly highly highly recommended if you're there this is the spot for you.

Had a reservation and when I arrived there is no elevator to get the bags from the parking to the hotel. Got a room and was not properly done, with not enough towels and scattered toiletries. We asked for another room and the gave it to us but in this one there were hairs on the floor and no lock to lock the door from the inside. Bad experience. The receptionist was ok, but still not enough to stay. We cancelled the reservation and looked for another hotel.
