Boulder Bay Eco Resort Nga Khin Nyo Gyee Island

Boulder Island is beyond words – it was an absolute privilege to spend a few nights at this beautiful place. Awesome food, great crew. From sunrise hikes to sunset beers, thanks for having us.

Boulder Bay Eco Resort is the only hotel in the island, there are not many tourists and natural environment is well preserved. It’s located 5 hours from Kawthaung by cruise ship or 2 hours by speed boat. The surroundings of the resort are really beautiful. You can have a walk in the forest with a guide, dive or go snorkeling to see colorful fish and corals in pristine waters. Staff is kind and helpful. The bungalows are comfortable. They include a bathroom and a terrace. There is a ceiling fan but no air conditioning. I had very good holidays and I recommend this place!

A secluded island with stunning white sand beaches, abundant sea life, hiking trails, bird watching, wonderful hospitality and not a soul in sight... what more could you want? During our stay we met two marine biologists who were doing month long residencies conducting coral restoration, and a permaculture specialist helping to build a vegetable and fruit garden. This PLACE IS doing it right, not just providing fair trade toiletries and water refill stations and calling it a day. Visit Boulder, you won't regret it!
