The staffs are very nice. Most of them can speak English as well. Very good location. Room is very clean.

The best 5 star hotel you can stay in Jiangning. I've tried their breakfast buffet and it was amazing, basically you can have all sorts of things you want from full English to Cantonese dim-sum. I strongly recommend you upgrade to lake view rooms, the scenery is worth the extra. The only oddness is that the bathtub is literally none-covered by any furnishing which is really weird.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road and found the experience to be fairly average. The location is undoubtedly one of the hotel's strongest assets. Being right on Nanjing Road makes it convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring nearby attractions like the Bund and People's Square. The room was clean and adequately sized, with all the basic amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this class. However, the decor felt a bit dated, and the lighting in the room was on the dim side, which might not appeal to everyone. The staff were polite and professional, but service felt a little impersonal at times. Check-in and check-out were smooth, but I felt the concierge service could have been more proactive in providing recommendations or assistance. Breakfast had a decent variety of options, catering to both Western and Asian tastes, though the quality was average. The dining area was crowded during peak hours, making it hard to find a comfortable spot. The fitness center and pool were functional but unremarkable, and I noticed a slight delay in housekeeping services during my stay. Overall, the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road is a solid option for travelers looking for convenience and reliability. However, it doesn't quite deliver the "wow" factor and could use some upgrades to match its prime location and brand reputation.
