A slice of paradise – highly recommended! We recently stayed at Island View Beachfront Resort in Anda, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and immaculately maintained. Everything you need is right at your doorstep: step outside and you’re immediately greeted by a stunning beachfront view. The beach is literally just a few steps from your room. The pool, situated right next to reception, offers a beautiful vantage point overlooking the sea — perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand. The resort also has its own diving center on-site, which was a huge plus for us. The scuba diving in the area is truly exceptional — vibrant marine life, great visibility, and professional guides who clearly love what they do. It was so peaceful and quiet, with gorgeous views and even lovelier guests. We didn’t feel the need to leave the property at all — everything we needed was right there. This is one of those places you want to return to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and experience the best of what Anda has to offer.

The Resort is on a secluded beach and the accommodations make you feel at home. The restaurant and service is well above par. The convince of the on property dive center was a plus. It is a beautiful peaceful place. We loved it and plan to come back.

Honestly, neither I nor my partner, who have traveled through the Philippines several times and experienced about twenty destinations and accommodations in the country, understand how this resort can have such good reviews. Undeniably, the owner Peter is nice and both welcomed us and said goodbye to us. The room is also quite good (clean, spacious and well-equipped) with a nice view, but this resort lacks so much to deserve the high rating. The breakfast was the worst we have had in the country. The service in the restaurant mostly lacks finesse. The menu for lunch and dinner is far too broad and even though we had time to try a number of different dishes, we were never satisfied. The pool is poorly cleaned. Water pressure and access to hot water and a well-functioning drain in the shower - unfortunately not. Overall, we experienced a rather gloomy feeling about the whole place, and the music you had to put up with didn't make it any better. It is possible that, given the reviews here and via booking apps, we had too high expectations and that the place is simply not a good fit for a family with children with high demands on a holiday. For instance, even though there is a ”all day bar menu” with simple dishes and snacks, the kitchen closes entirely between 10-12 meaning you are happy to get lunch at this place at around 13 - not suitable for a family with small children. We checked out two days early and changed resorts. 3 stars due to the spacious, clean room with sea view at a reasonable price. This place has potential to do better.
