This was our third time staying at the Savoy Palace in Funchal, and it just keeps getting better — truly a slice of paradise that never fails to impress. We stayed in a fantastic junior suite with two beautifully appointed bathrooms, elegant furniture, and a breathtaking view. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to offer both luxury and comfort. The service throughout our stay was impeccable, and the breakfast selection was excellent — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. A special note of appreciation goes to the exceptionally attentive staff who made us feel truly welcomed. The spa is absolutely stunning — serene, beautifully designed, and deeply restorative. I especially want to commend Coralina at the front desk for her warm professionalism, and the wonderful therapists Tatiana and Eva for their incredible care and skill. I was lucky enough to spend my birthday here, and was completely surprised by the spa team with a thoughtful gift, as well as a bottle of sparkling wine and a delicious chocolate cake from the restaurant. What a beautiful gesture that made my day unforgettable. I honestly cannot praise this place enough — it’s an absolute gem. If you're looking for a place to fully unwind, recharge, and be pampered in every way, the Savoy Palace is worth every moment of the journey. Thank you so much for another magical stay! 🌸✨

Fantastic! This beautiful hotel has thought of everything! The staff is extremely helpful and kind. I would highly suggest you opt for the breakfast option. The choices at this breakfast buffet are unlike any other. Champagne, cappuccino, fresh omelettes fruit anything you would ever want the pools are gorgeous, the rooftop area and sky bar is absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend going up there for a drink before dinner. Or even once the sun has set and you can see all of Madeira light up like Christmas lights. We traveled with our children ages 10 and 12 and they enjoyed it very much. They were very welcoming to children. The junior ocean view suite was also excellent because our entire family fit perfectly. They even brought in an extra bed so that my children each had a bed to sleep in. We will definitely be back. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. The location where the hotel was situated is also great because you can walk to a lot of the areas nearby. The concierge was very helpful with arranging for a reservations and directions to all of the different activities we wanted to do while we were on the island.

The hotel is new and beautiful. The staff is so friendly and eager to help. The breakfast was very good and we also had dinner in alameda restaurant which was very good as well. The rooms are clean and big. Felt like a luxurious hotel in all aspects, will definitely return here.
