Valentin Star Menorca Adults Only

My husband and I have just got home from a weeks stay at Valentin star, we had such a wonderful time, the staff couldn't do enough for us, we were greeted with a bottle of cold water and a damp towel so refresh our faces. Then we were shown to our room, the room was a fantastic size, perhaps a little dated, but realistically we only really spent afew hours a day in it, so it didn't matter. The food was sublime, especially in Valentino's The pool & jacuzzi were fantastic, we were all inclusive so had access to the bali beds, and spent the majority of the week on them, a complimentary snack/nibble was given late morning, then a complimentary alcoholic drink was given mid-afternoon The only tiny negative thing I could say is that at the breakfast buffet (we went 4 of the 6 mornings we were there) we were asked if we wanted a hot drink, I asked for a latte, my husband opted for tea on a couple of the days, otherwisejust stuck to orange juice, he received his tea on the days he asked for it. but not once in those four days did i get my latte, It became a running joke between us. All in all a wonderful week though, I wish I could've stayed longer. Also, as a bonus, the hotel reception smelled amazing.

What a great hotel central to the town, greeted by staff with towel and water to refresh after you journey. The rooms are great, food excellent, bar well stocked, staff are very friendly. All rooms have balconies or outside seating areas However all balconies are visible for everyone so if you want privacy you won 't get it. Pool is great not overly deep, daily activities for anyone. Small canapés offered during the day as well as a glass of bubbles, we were half board so no access to jacuzzi but the pool was fine. Already planning to come back next year

Paid for one week double bed room > 300€ / night They could not find a double bed and insisting on the fact that double bed is not mandatory. It is only a request. So they faked a double bed merging two single beds … come on ! They could not provide any information. Saying maybe come tomorrow at 8 am. Quiet disappointing…
