Extremely close to the airport although plan your journey well as traffic can be terrible especially around rush hour. Two restaurants on-site, one being 24 hours and European style, and another separate Thai style place, not particularly expensive and very good quality. The swimming pool has been refurbished and very lovely to cool off in. There’s a regular free shuttle bus that runs every 90 minutes, which is a great option if you don’t mind potentially getting to the airport quite early. The concierge guys are friendly too. Overall, this place has been a really great discovery, after having stayed at a few other, more expensive but much less pleasant places. The rooms are large, comfortable and decent, with enough drawer and hanging space to help you unpack a bit and not live out of a suitcase. The site is more like a set of apartments and there’s more of a resort feeling. I would just caution you to drive a bit slower than I did on the road approaching the security gate, as the speed ramps are much harsher than I thought they would be!! My fault.
We spent a night at the hotel thinking of being close to the airport. In fact, a super nice and punctual shuttle service picked us up from the airport to the hotel, which was very nice. At the hotel, we were greeted courteously at the reception, and we also added breakfast at an attractive price. The room we received was very nice and clean. There are 2 Western and Thai restaurants in the restaurant, we chose to eat at the Thai restaurant... The prices are expensive and the food is beyond reproach, at levels of really inedible, salty and burnt food. We live in Thailand and know the cuisine well and have never eaten a meal like this. The breakfast is also disappointing. They don't refill the food that runs out and the guy in charge of the omelets doesn't understand English. To get the omelet you asked for, it takes at least 2 tries. There is no service awareness at all... Luckily, there is no second chance for a first impression, as the first impression of the hotel was excellent. There are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, in my opinion, in fact, we didn't go looking because it was raining.. An excellent pool and a very nice atmosphere, except for the food services. In the end we arrived because the hotel is close to the airport and the price is super reasonable. The hotel has a pampering spa that works all day. We weren't... In conclusion, due to the fact that we live in Thailand, we have had many experiences in Bangkok. In this case, everything is good except the food... I wish they would improve. Thank you
We stayed here for a staycation since our trip to another province got cancelled. We booked directly through the hotel's website and we got a really good package deal which included a massage. The airport shuttle was on time and comfy and staff service was awesome (especially the bartender by the pool) and one waiter at the restaurant. The room could be cleaner - floor rug was obviously not regularly washed, we couldn't use the balcony because it was full of pigeon poop. Western food served at the restaurant could be better - pizza looked and tasted like it was the frozen type of dough and other issues. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay because the pool was a nice play to hang out and the water was pleasantly warm. we loved the serene area where the cafe/Thai restaurant is located beside the canal. The hotel grounds give a very relaxing vibe.
