Hannibal Palace

Generally 3.5 out of 5, as solo traveler enjoyed a lot quite beach, most people were staying on the pool, if you are looking for budget holiday is good choice

This hotel has the potential to be great, but is let down by a few factors. The cleanliness and up keep of the rooms is dreadful. Bathroom walls covered in limescale and worse as they have not been cleaned in god knows how long. 2 glass tumblers with dried white stuff in the bottom. They could use some signs to advise of where things are such as the pools, bars, dining room etc. There was a sign for the indoor pool that we followed but ended up on a corridor where part of the ceiling was missing! There are gates around the premises that would lead to the port or beach but they were locked. The outdoor toilets by the pool and some in the main building were also locked. WiFi only in communal areas was restrictive. Bed was clean and comfy. View from the room was amazing. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was great, but they have a card scheme that wasn't explained to us. Basically you are given a card with your name on, and they put it on a table, it is then left on the same table for the duration of your stay, and you eat at the same table for all meals. Seems simple, but caused a little confusion as it wasn't explained to us. They just need to put a little bit of money in to sort out the maintenance, cleaning, signage, and possibly a guide explaining things.

Horrible beds. Unfriendly stuff. Disgusting carpet in the room. Very old and bad maintained hotel. Only good thing is the location near the small harbour
