Holiday Inn London Brentford Lock by IHG

I had a 3 night stay here for a course related to my work. I had a really positive experience. Food was really decent quality - we had 3 course lunch provided by the hotel in their restaurant area every day and there was lots of choice for vegetarians. Breakfast was great every day. Beds comfortable and rooms clean. Worth noting that the planes from Heathrow start flying over from about 6am and can be loud if your window is open, so worth closing it before you go to bed. Friendly staff, would recommend. Lovely setting next to the river and a nice little community.

I was positively surprised about the hotel, modern building, large inviting lobby and comfortable room. The location is OK, good bus connections. The only area for improvement is the quality and taste of food at dinner. Breakfast offered everything you need and tasted good.

We headed here yesterday with a virgin experience which included a trip to Kew Gardens. We arrived quite late but the staff were SO lovely, helpful & polite. The hotel itself is located next to the Brentford lock & it has such beautiful views. I spent the morning with our door open watching planes fly over. Our room was lovely, cool and comfy. Our experience came with breakfast which was absolutely fantastic, staff again were lovely. Food was lovely too! HIGHLY recommend this hotel especially if you're heading to Kew Gardens! (Just a 10 minute cab away)
