Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn Brockenhurst New Forest

We have just come back from a few days here. The location and walks available just across the road were stunning. The rooms were spacious and clean. We arrived to find a note left from the housekeeping team. Little gestures like that go along way. We hope they liked the note we left on our last day. Breakfast was perfect. Great selection of food. Staff were great. Kostas was a credit to you. The gentleman who checked us in was lovely too (Andrei?), bar staff. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for a perfect stay.

We recently stayed at Forest Park Country Hotel to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully set in a large garden surrounded by trees, with a wide open green just outside where wild horses roam freely – such a magical sight to wake up to! Our room was tastefully decorated to match the country charm of the hotel, yet felt modern, fresh, and very clean. As a lovely surprise, the staff had left a birthday card in our room upon arrival – such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. We were also greeted with a welcome note from housekeeping, which was a lovely personal touch. The hotel is incredibly dog-friendly. We stayed in a ground-floor room with a back door leading straight into the garden, which was perfect. The room was well-equipped for our dog too – with bowls, a blanket, and an adorable welcome pack that included a toy, treats, and poo bags. It really made us feel that dogs are genuinely welcome here, not just tolerated. The staff were warm, friendly, and fun to chat to. They were very accommodating and offered helpful recommendations for the local area. We especially loved the Inn bar, where we could enjoy meals and drinks with our dog by our side. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the food at the restaurant was outstanding – beautifully presented, high-end quality, and reasonably priced. We ended up dining there both nights because it was just that good. The location is also ideal for exploring nearby villages like Beaulieu and taking in the natural beauty of the New Forest. Highly recommend this hotel – especially for dog lovers looking for a relaxing and welcoming countryside retreat!

Not stayed here, just had lunch. We had lunch in the spacious garden, very clean, lots of sun umbrellas, lots of space. There was a bar outside too, but waiter came tonour table. Great service, prompt, not overpowering. Menu was varied. We just had sandwiches but they were excellent, came with salad garnish, home made slaw, crisps. Very nice, roast beef ( rate) was particularly good. Bit pricey but it is a hotel. Other people around had bigger meals which looked good. Dog friendly too. Inside looked great. I'd definitely like to have been staying here. Will return hopefully. Maybe even stay in hotel.
