Went for food in the bistro. The dining area was dusty and felt as if it needed a good clean. Widow frames were full of cobwebs as well as wall decorations gathering thick dust. Service was slow and felt under staffed. A great and beautiful location but just let down by cleanliness and attention to detail
The room was very small and furnished minimalist. You could not swing a cat in the small bathroom and the main sink was tiny. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choice. I feel for the price they were charging the standard should have been that of a 5 star hotel.
Went for high tea (present from neighbour) and was a bit disappointed with the service we received. There was no ambience about the place and when we asked if our cakes could be boxed they said yes and presented a box for us to put the cakes in ourselves without any tongs or cake slice. Not the service I was looking forward to.
