Priory Wareham

What a weekend! A simply fantastic stay at The Priory Wareham. From check in to check out and everything between was just perfection. As soon as we stepped onto the grounds I just felt calmer. It is such a peaceful location and we stayed in the Swan Room which I highly, highly recommend as you have your own terrace on the bank of the river - stunning! We had cocktails in the bar which came with some beautiful little canapes and then the most unbelievable 3 course dinner. If the weather had been a little better we would have borrowed a paddle board and gone out on the river but will save that for next time. The staff were so friendly, the room was just perfect and the Jacuzzi bath was such a luxury! We only stayed for 24 hours but it felt like so much longer and was just the reset we needed. Thank you to The Priory for the most perfect birthday stay.

We gave stayed at many well known hotels in the UK, Europe and the USA and the Priory STANDS OUT to us... This family owned and run hotel is a jewel in Dorsets Crown. We stayed In the Boathouse, Kingfisher room....stunning ....quality, attention to detail and amazing location. A faultless two days at the Priory. Thank you all of the team...amazing.

I had booked a table for lunch for my wife’s birthday last Saturday and we enjoyed an excellent meal in the Garden Room. Christian made sure the occasion was memorable and Stephan the Chef ensured that each course was at its best. We have been coming to this hotel at varying times over the past 40 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience each time. The setting is delightful and very restful being on the banks of the River Frome.
