We enjoyed our stay here. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. We would like to mention two employees that deserve recognition for outstanding service. Mirna was so sweet and helpful. She helped us off the clock. We were both waiting for an uber and I needed clarification on the hotel address. She was amazing! Hugo in the Dining Room, was very attentive. Explained the buffet menu and made sure we were taken care of with yummy coffee. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely return to this hotel.

Stayed there for 3 days. Had excellent staff especially Sally. She was very dedicated and caring, always felt at home while talking to her in morning. Rooms were good. Vibe was little off as structure is old. The carpet in corridor could have been better as it used to smell. Bottled water was only for honors customer. Overall the stay was hassle free with little adjustment.

The evening after I checked in I went to take a shower and noticed the shower had some hairs in it. I figured no biggie can just rinse then down the drain with water before I get in, so I did. Then as I was washing out my shampoo I noticed the shower wasn't training properly and stuff from the drain was actually coming up and I was then bathing in it. I frantically got out and contacted the front desk. They told me they could make an appointment with house keeping but it would take a few hours. I explained to them I was mid shower and hadn't even been able to finish and needed a working shower because I had somewhere I needed to be. She said she would send someone right then - which never happened. I had to contact 3 different staff members to finally get someone to fix the issue hours later so I could resume my shower and getting ready. The staff was less then helpful and no one seemed concerned regarding the situation and it was over all very frustrating and actually insulting. They offered me breakfast the next day or a $30 off the first night, but I was literally bathing in what I can only imagine was someone elses pubic hair. It was honestly quite traumatizing and I will never be staying here. Also the bathroom didn't get cleaned before we got there and there was red marks on the ac unit that looked like blood. If all of long beach and surrounding areas weren't booked I would have checked out early. I have been trying to contact the front desk and keep getting hung up on. They are refusing to offer me any refund saying it's hotel policy. However it should be hotel policy not to rent out filthy rooms. Update: I was told I would get a refund for the first night. It has been over 5 days since I've been told that and still no refund.
