Cheyenne Mountain Resort a Destination by Hyatt Hotels

Rooms are good but not great. The location is convenient and the view is gorgeous. However, the service was absolutely incredible. The staff was definitely the most impressive part of the venture. We ate and drank at Elevations on two occasions, and Daniel and Cassy couldn’t have been better. Kind, funny, relaxed and cool, while working hard the whole time. At the breakfast buffet, I asked Maria a question about something that had nothing to do with her, and she went out of her way to talk to the manager Kemp and get us all the information we needed. All of the staff was extremely helpful.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, genuine hospitality that set the tone for a perfect stay. The setting is breathtaking—nestled against the mountains with stunning views in every direction. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, with walking paths, a private lake, and plenty of places to relax and take in the scenery. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a rustic-elegant vibe that felt cozy yet upscale. We loved waking up to mountain views from the balcony each morning! The amenities are top-notch. We enjoyed the pool, golf course, and the lake activities. The fitness center is surprisingly well-equipped, and the spa was a true highlight—so relaxing. Dining at the resort was excellent, with a good variety of options. The staff everywhere—from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurants—were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel truly cared for. If you’re looking for a beautiful mountain retreat with fantastic service, gorgeous surroundings, and plenty to do (or just relax), Cheyenne Mountain Resort is the perfect choice. Can’t wait to come back!

Extremely disappointed with our stay here. The rooms were outdated, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, I found a used contact from the previous guest in our shower, the robe provided had a giant red/purple stain on it. For the price you are paying at this resort I would expect a much better standard of cleanliness. The mountain views were nice. The hotel staff were kind and helpful but that doesn’t make up for the poor experience in the rooms. Paying over $300 a night here is outrageous for what you get. Absolutely would not go back and not recommend.
