Great hotel. Nice clean rooms and the service was excellent. Great location with a great view of the Potomac. The surrounding amenities and bars are very nice and all a short walk away. The bell desk was slow on checkout, however there were a couple conferences all letting out that day and they were very busy. The pool was very nice but kinda hard to find. All in all, an excellent experience.
Beautiful hotel with excellent Customer Services! Our check in experience was absolutely phenomenal thanks to Mr. Shields! Mr. Shields earned a Five Star rating for his professionalism, courtesy & attention to detail. He found an error with my reservation and was focused on making it right. After solving the problem I’d mention I was celebrating my birthday. , Again, Mr. Shields went to work placing our family in his best location with an exceptional view of the harbor and completed my experience with a complimentary bottle of Champaign! Wow!! I couldn’t stop talking about how special felt after receiving such superior Customer Service!! Thank you Mr. Shields for making my birthday one I will always cherish!
The rooms are good for the price. The phone service in the hotel was friendly. The front desk staff were friendly as well. The ice maker closest to my room did not work my entire stay and they never bothered to put an out of service sign up even though I reported it on my first day. The card readers for the doors and elevators are slow to pick up the signal from the cards. The card stopped working on my room door on day 2, but thankfully I already had the digital key on the app, which was just as slow to read on the room lock and elevators as the card key, but at least it continued working my entire stay. The food in the restaurants were decent to good, depending on what you ordered. I tried several of the establishments during my stay and while most of the food was good, the pricing was outrageous. The scenery outside the rear of the hotel was really nice, but didn't have much to do. As for things to do inside the hotel outside of the convention halls, it felt lacking both inside and the general area outside of the hotel. The interior decor is nice and has a relaxing feel.
