What a fantastic stay! Great front desk service and beautiful rooms. The bar downstairs is stunning as well- couldn't recommend enough. For all the complaints about the noise- *yes*, you can hear some noise from the street, but with the age of the building, some slack needs to be cut here.

My fiance had planned a romantic weekend for us for my birthday. We had dinner at The Town Company. The scallops were amazing but the lobster toast was rancid. It had a strange taste to it and we couldn't eat it. Because the portions are small, we just left it and didn't say anything because maybe that's what it's supposed to taste like and we just didn't like it. As the meal progressed, my stomach started to cramp and hurt. I couldn't eat my meal so we got it to go. I ended up very sick in the night. Unfortunately I kept my fiance awake as well and then he ended up sick. Not only did we pay for a meal that ended up making us sick but because it was so bad, we also paid an extra cleaning charge for the room. Everyone was very kind and friendly but I'm pretty sure we can't be the only ones who got sick. There was a wedding as well and the hotel was completely booked. Just disappointed that my birthday weekend was ruined by rancid lobster toast. Overall the hotel is lovely just be careful of the food.
