Le Pavillon New Orleans a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott

From the moment I stepped into Le Pavillion, I found it a cool (both literally and figuratively) respite from the heat of the city. Check-in was easy, and the staff was welcoming and cheerful. The lobby was open and bright, and everywhere I went, the hotel was clean and well maintained. There are many small touches that made my stay enjoyable - even down to the room key art. While a little on the small side (as I have found to be the case in many historic hotels), my room was well laid out and comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly roomy and bright. Breakfast was amazing; I very much recommend the BBQ shrimp and grits and wish I could have brought home a bottle of its sauce. Serving complementary peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with cold milk in the evening is also a very nice touch. The hotel is well located - either a short ride or a not too long walk (in a cooler part of the year than my July visit) from the French Quarter.

The entire hotel experience was fantastic! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating with every request we had. Darrell, at the front desk, was so helpful with everything we needed. The cold water in the lobby was great after being out in the heat. The hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed the upside-down artwork! Location was great and we were able to walk to many places. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in New Orleans!

We recently stayed at the hotel for a very large youth retreat. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious! The support went above and beyond making sure that the water dispensers were stocked as well as having extra vitamin c packets to make aure we were all staying hydrated as it was a VERY hot week! Darrell at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. When our large group had an instacart deluvery, he made aure that it was placed in a location that we could easily grab it!!
