Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center

This Hyatt is truly perfect in every way!! My mum and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip and regret not staying longer simply because of how nice this hotel was. The rooms were clean and well taken care of, the staff was kind and helpful, and the food?! The restaurant below had such great options and cocktails! For dinner I had the poke bowl which was so fresh and my mum had the chowder which was yummy too. They also serve breakfast which was great, too! If you want a latte or something small, there's also a little shop with souvenirs (that aren't tacky, even as someone born and raised in Portland!) and grab-and-go options. Overall great location, great price; will absolutely stay here again on our next visit! Portland isn't the same as it was when I was young, but this hotel made it feel like home again.

Really nice Hyatt. Sparking clean and the staff stands out. They are attentive and friendly. The bathroom situation is a little odd for families. No door to the toilet/ shower room. There is a door that separates that area from the bedroom, but if anyone wanted to exit the room while someone else was in the shower, it would be weird. I have seen similar set ups at other comparable modern hotels, but the slider door actually enclosed the bathroom. Valet parking was easy. Will stay here again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! It’s immaculate, comfortable, perfect location, world class staff, fitness equipment, literally everything I needed. Special shout out to event sales manager, Katie Stirrett who guided me through my first experience booking a room block for a large group in a way that makes me want to stay here as often as possible and Jamaal Daniel, the assistant front desk manager who greeted me personally and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience.
