Overall great experience. - Breakfast service is a hit or miss after a week staying there only one breakfast was not burnt or blah. - Happy hour / dinner service is the highlight. Everyone that works in the afternoon is amazing and honestly the main reason I stayed at the hotel in the evening. - Hotel staff super friendly & front desk was great!

Marked it as a favorite in my Hilton app on day one. The staff here is incredible. I had drinks at the bar nightly with some of the best conversations and fun atmosphere one could ask for. You can tell everyone likes working here. The food is way above what one expects from a Hotel restaurant as well. While enjoying dinner one night I got to observe one patron complain about their drink having a water spot on the glass and another about their cook on a steak. The way the staff handled these complaints, one frivolous the other fair, in particular was nothing short of mesmerizing. They acknowledged the issue with sincerity, articulated a plan of action and then executed it. Genuine, with warmth and care even for the most silly or mundane “non problems”. I even joked with the bartender about whether or not they were forbidden to say “No” after the prickly water spot guy was taken care of. A+ all around but the staff gets the gold star.

We loved our stay at The Benson! Rooms are well appointed, but small; it is an old (historic) hotel. You can also hear everything in the bathroom. But you can't hear much from the hallway. The bed is nice with a firmer mattress that doesn't rattle when someone else moves. Like all hotels, the pillows and thin. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the breakfast at their restaurant taste good and is reasonably priced.
