Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown

This Radisson is about as close to the center of the city as you can get with the Salt Lake Temple in walking distance as well as lots of shopping and restaurants. The facility is very clean and well maintained with a nice restaurant and an awesome bar downstairs. Staff is friendly, although to be fair, every single service industry person I've ever encountered in Utah is extremely nice. There's a pretty decent gym on the second floor with a cardio section and a strength training section. The pool is right next to the fitness center although it was closed for renovations during my stay. The room was great! Excellent shower heads (that's a big thing for me), one of the best mini fridges I've ever had in a hotel, big tv, and comfortable beds. There's also a microwave, which was a nice touch! I absolutely recommend this hotel. It's definitely worth the price. I would even say it was a good deal! Pro Tip: Ask for a room on the south side of the hotel if you're sensitive to noise. The rooms facing the front of the building get a lot of noise from the trains passing outside.

Exceptional Service from Jodie at the Front Desk!!!!!! I checked in today and had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Jodie at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I mentioned I needed a room with a walk-in shower, and she didn’t just note it—she personally took the time to show me a few different room options to ensure it met my needs. Jodie genuinely cared and made me feel like a valued guest. To top it off, she offered me a beautiful suite at no extra cost. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were simply outstanding. She is a true asset to the hotel. Thank you, Jodie—you’re amazing. God bless you!

I’ve had better service at a Holiday Inn than this hotel. I mean this place is the definition of “meh”. $35 for valet, and they only hired one. Waited forever to get my car after they basically lost it. Not blaming the valet himself, he’s working very hard and was nice. But whoever owns this place needs to hire more people and/or make the valet complimentary. Then, the sink water in the hotel only had two options, really hot or really cold. The room was ok, not my favorite. The check in experience was not very smooth and in general you don’t really feel welcome here. Check in at any low range hotel, not here.
